Sabina Yusubova is an Azerbaijani patrolling inspector in the Kvemo Kartli police department.[1]
Biography
Our compatriot Sabina Yusubova, 21, began working as a traffic police officer in Georgia. She became the first Azerbaijani woman to hold this position in Georgia.[2]
Although Sabina was accepted into medical school to fulfill her grandfather's wish, she was considering a second specialty. This time, her uncle, Mahir Yusubov, a police major, advised her to choose law school and become a police officer. A month later, our young compatriot, determined to fulfill his deceased uncle's recommendation, applied for the first vacancy announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Sabina Yusubova, who has been successfully working for several months as the only Azerbaijani patrol inspector in the Kvemo Kartli police department, says that so far she hasn't encountered any problems in her work. "I can't forgive anyone who breaks the law, not even my closest relative," says our young compatriot.
It should be noted that Sabina Yusubova is currently a fourth-year student at Georgian State Medical University and a second-year student at the Faculty of Law of Georgian Technical University.
