Sachet Engineer is an Indian actor and swimmer. He is best known for his role as Yohaan Awasthi (Dada) in the 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par (Like Stars on Earth). He is the grandson of water polo champion, Ishwar Girdharlal Engineer.[1]
He attended Campion School, Mumbai.[2] A member of the Otters Club, he won his first gold medal in swimming at the age of five. He has since won a number of swimming medals, including four gold medals at the "36th Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association Championship" in 2009[2] and five gold medals and a silver at the "27th Otters" in 2010.[3] He has also competed in seven nationals.[3][1]
