Sachet Engineer is an Indian actor and swimmer. He is best known for his role as Yohaan Awasthi (Dada) in the 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par ( Like Stars on Earth). He is the grandson of water polo champion, Ishwar Girdharlal Engineer.[1]
He attended Campion School, Mumbai.[2] A member of the Otters Club, he won his first gold medal in swimming at the age of five. He has since won a number of swimming medals, including four gold medals at the "36th Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association Championship" in 2009[2] and five gold medals and a silver at the "27th Otters" in 2010.[3] He has also competed in seven nationals.[3][1]
