Sagar Ramchandra Kakade (04 October 1988) is an Indian poet. [1] He is also known as a rebellious poet in Marathi. He is originally from Satara. But he has been living in Pune for many years.
His collection of poems "Manasachya Soyicha Dev[2]" has been published in 2016. Also, the poem "Tumachya Eka Golivar, Majhasudhha Naav Liha"[3] written and performed on stage is very popular.
Life and career
He completed his schooling from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Koregaon and Anant English School, Satara. He completed his college education from DP Bhosle College, Koregaon and Lal Bahadur Shastri College, Satara. After completing Mass Communication from Tilak Maharashtra University,[4] he did a Master in Digital Marketing from London Business School.[5]
Sagar Kakade's poems and articles have been published in many Marathi newspapers.
Through the Muktai Pratishthan, he has given a platform to new writers.
Political career
Sagar Kakade is the Maharashtra State Vice President of the Cultural Department of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee.[6]
Awards and recognition
Sagar Kakade has received many awards in the field of Marathi literature. He has also been awarded Gadima Award[7] and Padma Shri Namdev Dhasal Award by Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad in 2017.
