Sagar Roy (born 28 December 1993) is a Bangladeshi software engineer and enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist. His work focuses on enterprise software development, business process automation, and digital transformation solutions.
Early life and education
Roy was born in Bangladesh. He completed a Master of Science in Engineering (MSc Engg) from Khulna University.
Career
Roy began his career as a software engineer, working on enterprise software systems and business process automation. He has been involved in the development of ERP systems, client portals, and web-based applications for business operations.
He is the founder and former managing director of 'Beta Source Software Limited, a technology company focused on ERP solutions and digital services. During his tenure, he contributed to the development of software platforms aimed at improving organizational efficiency and workflow management.
Roy has also worked as a software engineer at One Key Visa Inc. [1], a United States–based company, where he has been involved in developing software systems and digital service platforms.
Research
Roy is the author of a research work titled Design and Development of a Blockchain-based Electronic Voting System, which explores the use of blockchain technology to enhance transparency and security in electronic voting systems.[2]
