They made their first app in their Sago Mini brand in May 2013 called Sago Mini Sound Box. In late 2013, they transferred Doodlecast for Kids to their developer account from Zinc Roe's. In 2016, Spin Master acquired Sago Sago from Bonnier Group.[2] In 2017, they released Sago Mini World on iOS and Android.[citation needed] In 2018, they renamed the studio fully to Sago Mini. In 2020, they released Sago Mini School on iOS and Android.[citation needed] In 2024, their standalone apps from 2011 to 2022 were removed from the App Store and Google Play.[3] In 2023, A subscription service featuring Toca Boca and Sago Mini apps called Piknik was launched.[citation needed] They also had a couple of their apps on the Windows Store. The Windows Store versions of the Sago Mini apps were removed on February 23, 2024[citation needed]
