Said Muhammad Dahi is a poet and writer of Hadrami.[1]
Born in 1948 in the city of Mukalla, Hadramaut, he grew up in the family home under the patronage of his grandfather, Sheikh Said Dahi. In 1956, a year later, after moving to a second primary year, his love of reading began to appear. He and his classmate and son, Muhammad Salem Al-Yazidi, went to the Sultanic Library to read continuously.
Dahi leaves for Sudan for high school[edit]
In 1964, the Qatian Knowledge Department sent Said Dahi among the top five high school students in Sudan. He was one of the top students in Arabic and English. Madrac Said Dahi expanded during his high school education in the Sudan and benefited greatly from the cultural climate in the Sudan. He participated actively in all student activities. He was a student leader of the Association of Urban Students in the Sudan at the time.
Lazhi and the early experience of the University of Aden[edit]
Said Dahi returned to Mukalla after completing his secondary school in Sudan in 1968 and worked as a teacher in Boys' Preparatory School in Mukalla. At the same time, he was preparing outstanding literary programs for local radio in Mukalla. Two years later, he decided to open the first university college, the High College of Education, after 1970, and he received a bachelor's degree in English in 1974.

He also served as editor of the magazine "New Education," which the Centre was publishing.
In 1978, Said Dahi moved to Mukalla to teach at the School of Education in Mukalla, which he used to attend from time to time. Between the years he worked for Aden Education College and Aden Education School, Said Dahiramaut was busy translating the book "Prose & Poetry from Hadramaut," by distinguished British reviewer Robert Sargent, who was very closely associated with Eden television viewers in the joyful dialogue he had with the great late Rafi Jafar.
In 1980, the chapter of the Yemeni Center for Cultural Research printed a book of poetry from Hadramaut, which was translated by Said Dahi from his English text for his biographer (Sargent) in April 1980, initially with a view to disseminating the benefit to readers and those interested in literature in Hadramaut.

Said Dahi’s Geographical Alienation in the United Arab Emirates[edit]
Said Dahi left home in November 1979 for the United Arab Emirates and worked there in the press as editor and translator of the UAE newspaper. He was also one of its editors, Professor Poet Fazleh, then secretary of the Gulf Defense Magazine until his death.

Said Dahi went to Rahma Rabbah on 8 Ramadan, 3 December 2000, after a severe heart attack at his residence in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
