Sailesh Dave is an Indian film and television [3] producer [4] [5] of films, who also works in Hindi films and television.
He is known for co-producing an independent slacker comedy film Sulemani Keeda[6] [7], famous Television shows like 'Movers and Shakers' and The Great Indian Comedy Show. He also created and produced a series of spoof features for the MTV network.
Professional life
Sailesh Dave was the Asia Research Director at Frost & Sullivan” a Silicon Valley-based consulting company “Rogers & Associates,” besides stints with “Miller Kadanoff” and “Rogers & Associates” before entering the Media & Entertainment industry. He has over 20 years experience in multiple Industries across the Globe ranging from media and entertainment, advertising, marketing, and consulting.
He currently heads a cluster of media companies involved in creating TV shows and feature films, film marketing and distribution and digital media content including Oscar-winning documentaries. Mr. Dave is a noted content creator and Producer of TV shows and films. His credits include that of Creator/Producer on more than 14 TV shows.
His production company,” Runaway Productions”[8] is engaged in creating and producing films, TV and digital content globally. He is also a co-founder and Managing Partner of a Content Distribution company, “Runaway-Luminosity Distribution LLP.” “Runaway-Luminosity” is actively engaged in acquiring Hollywood’s finest Independent cinema and documentaries and bringing this content to the rest of the world. The company’s acquisitions include an Oscar-winning documentary Citizenfour and other gems like Life, Animated, 'Harold and Lilian: a Hollywood love story' amongst many others. The company also distributes films from Lionsgate, Fox Searchlight, etc. The recent academy award winning film La La Land (film) was distributed by his company.
