Salif Christian Gueye (born 4 September 1998) is a French dancer and choreographer. He was born in Paris, France. He specializes in a moonwalk dance style.[1] [2]
Early Life
Salif Gueye started to dance at the age of three. His dance genres are moonwalk dance, hip-hop, popping, electric boogaloo, etc.[3][4]
He was 14 years old when he performed at a Michael Jackson night in France. He also performed in a room dedicated to Michael Jackson, in 2018.[5]
Career
Salif Gueye gained popularity after his dance to the song 'Rock With You' by Michael Jackson, in October 2018.[6][7] He was invited to perform twice at the 2018 Ballon d'Or ceremony, with a solo performance to Michael Jackson and a group performance. Also, Salif Gueye performed in tribute to Michael Jackson at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2019, alongside Quincy Jones.[8]
Competitions
Salif Gueye competed in the World of Dance Paris Qualifier in 2018.[9] In 2019, he appeared on stage at Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Paris with Les Twins.[10][11]
Television appearances
Salif Gueye was invited to The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2018.[12][13][14] Salif Gueye presented International Female Artists at the 2019 NRJ Music Awards.[15][16][17][18]
Modelling
Salif Gueye is represented by IMG Models. In 2022, he worked at Paris Fashion Week.[19][20]

The 12th Annual Shorty Awards nominated Salif Gueye in the Dance category.[21]
