The Salisbury Observer is an Independent Progressive Newspaper in Salisbury, North Carolina.[1]. Founded in 2020 by Michael Eaborn. The Salisbury Observer is dedicated to reporting fair and balanced news[2] The Salisbury Observer was created by Michael Eaborn on May 23, 2020 in response to the death of George Floyd. On Sunday, May 31, 2020 shots were fired by Jeffrey Alan Long[3], a Confederate counter protester.[4] Protests held in Salisbury brought a call to the Black Lives Matter movement and called for police reformation.

It is this that The Sailsbury Observer made it a mission to dedicate to reporting fair and balanced news.[5]

The Salisbury Observer was registered as a sole proprietorship on July 7, 2020. The following week, protests were held in Salisbury for the removal of the Fame Monument[6]. On October 31, 2020, Deplorable Pride held a Trump Train Parade in Salisbury, North Carolina[7][7]
