Salish Matter is an American content creator, and gymnast born on November 29, 2009 in Nyack, New York.[1] Her father is the famous photographer and YouTuber, Jordan Matter, and Lauren Boyer.[2] She posts content on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Snapchat.
Salish On YouTube
Salish has a YouTube channel called "Salish", created in 2023 which has over 2 million subscribers.[3] She is also usually in her father, Jordan Matter's YouTube channel, called "Jordan Matter" which has about 30 million subscribers.[4] Before, the "Jordan Matter" channel was mostly Jordan on it, where he created videos related to photography, but when Salish started appearing, the videos started to change. It now makes mostly content creation and challenge videos. The videos are more longer, and there are many compilations.[5]
Salish's Family
Salish has a brother named Hudson Matter, who is a YouTuber, and content creator, and is about 4 years older than Salish.[6] Salish's father, Jordan Matter is a photographer and youtuber in most videos, and her mother, Lauren Boyer, is also sometimes in her videos. Her grandparents are Alex Matter, and Paula Feiten.
Salish's Most Viewed Videos
On the "Salish" YouTube channel, the most viewed video is called "Reacting To My Best Friend's Cringiest Videos" which has over 15 million views. The video is about Salish watching her friend Nidal Wonder[7] and reacting to it throughout the video.[8] On the "Jordan Matter" channel, the most viewed video is called "24 HOUR WATERPARK CHALLENGE *Emotional*", and has over 100 million views. It is about Jordan, Salish, and Nidal doing challenge sat a waterpark.[9]
Salish at the Nickelodeon 2024 Kids' Choice Awards
In 2024, Salish, and her father, Jordan won the "Favorite Creator Family" award at the 2024 Kids' Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California.[10] Their competitors were FGteeV, The Beverly Halls, Ninja Kids, and The Herberts.
