Sam Bahadur is an upcoming Indian biographical drama Hindi language film directed by Meghna Gulzar. [1]It is based on the life of the first field Marshal of Indian Army Sam Manekshaw. It is starring Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw.[2]

Vicky Kaushal announced the title of his upcoming film based on the legend of Indian Army, the first field Marshal of India army on 3 April 2021.[3] The title was unveiled by Kaushal on his instagram account on the occasion of Sam Manekshaw's birthday. The first poster was released in 2019[4]
