His Excellency Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai is the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State. He assumed office on 29th of May 2015, and served until 2023. Under the APC with the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu. [1]
Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai (Retd) started his education in the Nigeria Army at the age of nine (9) when he was enrolled into the Nigeria Army school in Zaria, Kaduna State. From there, he joined the Defence Academy. He has a PhD in Air Transport and Logistics. He plays Handball and Golf.
The D.G Samaila Yombe Dabai owns a company named Yomed Nigeria Limited, Kaduna, which deals in air services, a primary school and agricultural service equipment. The company was established in 2007. Yombe, who is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Python International Golf Club (PIGC)[2]. Col. Samaila Yombe Dabai (rtd) has put his technological expertise to the fore as he single-handedly designed and fabricated an armoured personnel carrier tank to be donated to the Nigeria Army to tackle the menace of armed bandits.
