Saman Tabrez Ansari (born 10 October 2000) is an Indian-born, Mumbai-based, popularly known as Saman Ansari, is an Indian make-up artist[1], who started her career at the age of 20.[2] Her work constantly appears in advertising campaigns, magazines, news publications, and editorials.[3]
Personal Life
Saman Ansari was born to a business family, Tabrez Ansari & Sana Tabrez Ansari, in Kurla, Mumbai. Her family then moved to her native place in Kurla, where she had a luxurious childhood, living in a bungalow. At the age of 6, she joined Mary Immaculate Girls' High School in Kalina. She joined University of Mumbai at the age of 17 and completed her higher education.[4]
Career
She started her career as a make-up artist with a creative mind from a young age. Her particular interest within the field of beauty and style is unusual, but Saman drew inspiration from all internationally when it came to meeting the contemporary developments. She possesses the potential to enhance, manage, and beautify others. As a result, her parents encouraged her to pursue this profession, based on her abilities.[5] She is expert in colors, lines, and angles of the face and body by the age of 20.
Achievements
She has collaborated with numerous outstanding beauty brands like Sugar Cosmetics, Recode USA, and over 250 other brands.
In 2022, Digital World Innovations recently hosted ‘The 2022 Glaze Iconic Awards’ and Saman was selected as 'Top 20 Makeup Artist in 2022'.
Charity
She is currently running an academy where she teaches the principles of make-up to a large number of people, in addition to her commencement. During the pandemic, she took the initiative to help others who were suffering with COVID-19[6]. For the same, she conducted online make-up sessions for more than 500 students and with the help of that money, she donated to those in need. She has made a lot of young girls able to start their own businesses through her teaching.
