Samantina Zenon

Samantina Zenon (born June 20, 1990) is a Haitian American actress, content creator,[1][2] and producer. She is based in Queens, New York.

Life and Education[edit]

Zenon was born to Viviane Saint Germain and Jean Yves Zénon. She was raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

After graduating high school, she attended Long Island University Brooklyn Campus, where she graduated with a BA in Jazz studies and a minor in theatre and journalism. She also studied the Meisner Technique at the HB studio for three years.[3]

In 2013, Zenon received a Service Award at Long Island University.

Career[edit]

Film

In 2015, Zenon portrayed Sharona in the film Ghost Source Zero.

In 2016, she played Child of Anarchy in Grier and made an appearance as detective Ciara Combs in a dark drama TV series The Sin Reapers.

In 2017, she played a supporting role in the Sci-Fi film The Face in The Wall.

In 2019, Zenon worked with the iconic video artist Tony Oursler in the film Eclipse for the Cartier Art Foundation.[4]

Theatre

In 2009, Zenon made her professional debut at Long Island University Spring Theatre Production as Feste, the street performer in Twelfth Night.

In 2014, she participated in the New York theatre festival in The Exile as Liselle.

In 2015, she portrayed Odessa in a Caribbean Tale Vat-Zecco Musical.

In 2016, Zenon played Katie in an adaptation of Rumpelstiltskin. Later that year, she also portrayed Grace Georges in Zooman in The Sign production.

In 2017, she was cast in Ragtime, the musical at Columbia University.

In 2019, Zenon starred in When You Come for One of Us, You Come for All of Us. A.K.A This is America theatre production. The same year, she portrayed Beelzebub in The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus at the Secret Theatre.[5]
