Samuel So Man-sing (Chinese: 蘇文星) is a Hong Kong screenwriter and film director.[10] He is the founder and writer of HK Comics Limited and published a best-selling comic series Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in the United States.[11][12] He had been a lecturer (part-time) in Hong Kong Baptist University, Academy of Film (Higher diploma year 2 & year 3, course title: Screenwriters on Screenwriting).[13]

Mind uploading[edit]

His idea of transfer human consciousness to a cyborg body in the screenplay of Robotrix makes the movie become a science fiction film classic in Hong Kong.[14][15] The above idea also applies to his second science fiction novel Once Upon a Time in Atlantis which was serialized in the Mingpao Weekly [zh] from 1992-1993.
