SanMinor (real name Aleksandr Didenko, born December 20, 1992) is a rapper and music producer from Russia. He is known for a music style called Dystopian rap.
Early life
SanMinor was born in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He started writing songs when he was in school. He was influenced by rap groups like Mnogotochie and Centr, and by international rappers like 2Pac and DMX. He began using the name SanMinor in 2014.
Career
In November 2014, SanMinor started working on his first EP called Night of December. The songs were personal and emotional. He recorded the first track in February 2015 at the Sverdlovsk State Academic Drama Theater.
In 2016, he released the single Madame with singer Lyuba Yamskaya. They also filmed a music video together. That same year, he began creating his own beats and released more songs between 2016 and 2019.
In 2020, he released an EP called Step Forward. In 2021, he released a song called 1984 and a music video for Your Dream Ships. He also released an EP called Isolation, which talked about topics like digital life, loneliness, and society.
