Sandeep Pandit is an Indian IT professional with Cognizant [3] in Australia, an Indian cook[4], and one of the top 24 contestants of the eleventh series of MasterChef Australia (Series 11) 2019, an international reality TV show with 61 episodes that premiered on Network 10 between 29 April 2019 and 23 July 2019. The show had Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris, and Matt Preston serving as judges.

MasterChef Australia[edit]

Sandeep entered the top-11 list[5] in Master Chef Australia (Series 11) 2019,. He won the Immunity Pin title in Week 5 (Secrets Week)in the Episode22 named Immunity Challenge: Secret Chef, originally aired on 28 May 2019, with a perfect score of 30. He defeated Andy Allen, season 4 (MasterChef Australia 2012) winner [6]. Sandeep’s journey ended in Week 8 (Sweet Week), Episode 39named Sugar-Free Elimination Challenge, on June 20, 2019.

Sandeep Pandit, a Kashmiri Pandit[7], was born in Jammu and Kashmir[8] then a northern state and now a union territory in India, in the early 1980s. His family moved to Bengaluru during the exodus in 1990 when he was 8.[9] He completed his early and higher education including BE in chemical engineering and MBA in Bengaluru[10]
