Sandy Hore-Ruthven is the CEO of the young people’s charity Creative Youth Network.[2] He stood as the Green Party of England and Wales candidate for Mayor of Bristol in the 2021 United Kingdom local elections, but failed to be elected, finishing in second place.[3]
Career
Throughout his career, Sandy has worked at a number of non-profit organisations.[2] From 1998–2002 he worked as a volunteering manager at Young Bristol, a charity providing community-based youth services. Later, Hore-Ruthven worked with Initiatives of Change as Reconciliation Coordinator for Somalia and the Horn of Africa. In April 2006 Sandy became the CEO of Creative Youth Network,[4] a charity based in Bristol that offers support for young people through a variety of social programs.
