Sanesco International, Inc. is an American biotechnology company located in Asheville, North Carolina[1][2] and is best known for being among the first companies worldwide to provide neurotransmitter testing from urine samples.[3][4]
Founded in 2004 by Hector Romero,[5] Sanesco International, Inc. and its laboratory division, NeuroLab,[6] works with physicians to develop integrative clinical assessment and support tools for healthcare providers which include neuroendocrine analytical testing, non-drug nutritional support formulas, and clinical reviews based on over 100 self-reported patient data points.[7]
The company won the Asheville Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award in 2007[8] and ranked among the top finishers in the Asheville Fit Company Challenge hosted by the Fit Company Institute in 2016.[9]
