Sanjay Brahmawar
Sanjay Brahmawar (born November 18, 1970) is a Indian-Belgian software and business executive.[1]. He currently serves as the CEO of Software AG[2]. Prior to that he was the General Manager for global revenue at IBM's Watson Internet of Things[3].

Early Life[edit]
Brahmawar was born in India[4]. Early in his career Sanjay wanted to work as a fighter pilot with the Indian Air Force following a tradition of military service in his family. He started down that path and took the National Defense Academy exam in India, doing very well. Unfortunately, he did not meet the eyesight requirements for a pilot. Henceforth pursue an engineering career[5]. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from University of Leeds.[6]

Sanjay started his career as Business Development Manager at Honda and then in several Management roles at DSM, FedX and PwC.
Sanjay started his career at IBM in 2003, where he held various roles[7]. He lead as VP and General Manager roles for Global Oil & Gas Industries at IBM. He served as General Manager for global revenue at IBM's Watson Internet of Things from 2016 to 2018[8].
Joining Software AG in August 2018, Brahmawar succeeded previous CEO Karl-Heinz Streibich as the Chief Executive Officer[6].He is currently serving as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO.[9]
He joined Frankfurt School of Finance & Management as the member of the Board of Trustees. He guides students graduates and academics at Frankfurt School on current challenges on blockchain, machine learning or the digital iron curtain.[10]
Personal Life[edit]
Brahmawar is married and has two sons. His hobbies include cycling and running[5]. He resides near Munich in Germany.
