Sanjay Awasthi[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] (born 10 August 1968) is the President of The Sugar Technologists’ Association of India, an apex body of sugar industry and professionals in India and Business Head of ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited, a diversified global engineering company based in India.
Early life
He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and graduation from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University. After graduation he did his post-graduation in Sugar Technology from the prestigious National Sugar Institute Kanpur.
Career
He [8] has been associated with the sugar industry for the past three decades.
He has been vocal on the issues pertaining to the welfare of the sugar industry and also promoting ethanol blending program in India to support the Indian government in achieving blending targets from 10% to 20%.[9][10]
