Shaykh Muhammed Ahmed Saqalain Miyan Huzoor[edit]
Shaykh Muhammed Ahmed also known as Saqalain Miyan Huzoor (Rahmatullah Alaih) (1947–2023), was one of the foremost traditional Sunni Islamic scholar and Spiritual Guide of contemporary times from India.
He was the Custodian of Khanqaah e Sharafatiya in Bareilly, India. He bridged the gap between spirituality and intellectuality, orthodoxy and modernity, divine love and world affairs.
The sentence - “A truly amazing mentor is hard to find and impossible to forget” - perfects his stature with his simplicity, humbleness, an easy going conduct and accessibility to any individual who wants to meet him and also effortless to speak to him, with his patient hearing.

Family Background and Spiritual Lineage[edit]
Since 1950 Aastana e Aaliya Sharafatiya located in Mohalla Shahbad of a town, Bareilly Shareef is the Centre to connect people with the Creator and also a centre from where numerous servants of Allah gets benefited for their worldly welfare and for a prosperous life after death.
Hazrat Qiblah Shah Sharafat Ali Miyan Radiallahu anhu was born on Jumu’ah al-Wida at the time of the second Adhaan of the 27th day of the month of Ramadan while his mother was in a state of fasting in the city of Kakrala.
His grandfather, Hazrat Gulam Yaseen Khan Sahib (Rahmatullahi alaih) used to teach and preach in the old Jamia Masjid of Kakrala. The father of Hazrat Qibla Shah Sharafat Ali Miyan, Hazrat Ghulam Mustafa Khan Sahib, (Rahmatullahi alaih), was also a pious person who was immersed in serving Allah Almighty through congregational salat and fasting and also served the creation of Allah. Therefore, obeying Allah and following the Messenger, keeping in mind the pleasure of Allah and His beloved ﷺ, has always been the identity of this Noble family.
After completing his education, Hazrat Qibla Shah Sharafat Ali Miyan (Rahmatullahi alaih), with his duties in teaching, used to do rigorous spiritual meditational practices, which took him closer to the highest goals of Spiritual Excellence.
At the same time, in June 1926, he got the honour of becoming the disciple of a Spiritual Master Murshid-e-Barhaq Hazrat Qibla Shah Bashir Miyan (Rahmatullahi alaih) who came to Gulabnagar in Bareilly Shareef from Iran's Khorasan. And after ten years of companionship and great struggle and efforts for self-purification, he was blessed with permission and caliphate and was also chosen as an important member of his monastery (Khanqaah).
This traveller on the path of Allah made the purpose of his life only to Please Allah Almighty and to follow his Beloved ﷺ. And for this, he served the religion and the people by becoming a true manifestation of the Prophetic character, demonstrated simplicity, night vigil, contentment, always arranging the food for the masses, guiding the creatures and fulfilling their needs. In this journey to Allah, he had to be patient with the death of his dear son and Caliph Sufi e Ba Safa, Hazrat Qibla Shah Shujaat Ali Miyan, Rahmatullahi alaih. The Aastana of SHAYKH Shujaat Ali Miyan (Rahmatullahi alaih) is a source of grace and mercy for the devotees in Kakrala Shareef.
Five years before his death, Hazrat Qibla Shah Sharafat Ali Miyan (Rahmatullahi alaih), after the Friday prayers in the presence of a huge crowd comprising elders and in the spiritual presence of Hazrat Sayyed Alauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Kaliyari and SHAYKH Basheer Miyan Qiblah, gave the honor and caliphate to his grandson SHAYKH MUHAMMED SAQALAIN MIYAN HUZOOR (Rahmatullah alaih) and handed over his monastery to him and went into a state of constant worship and communion.
On the 10th of Rabi-ul-Awwal Shareef, after the Isha prayer, Hazrat Qibla Shah Sharafat Ali Miyan (Rahmatullahi alaih) met his real beloved and migrated from this mortal world.
