Sar Faraz Khan (Urdu: سر فراز خان  ‎}}) (Hindi: सर फ़राज़ खान ) also known as Sar faraz harfi by his pen name, (born 24 April 1992) is an Indian Hindi-Urdu Modern Writer[1], occasional singer[2], Motivational Speaker from Mysore. He belongs to a Mahdavia Muslim family. He is known for his poetic talent and a very spectacular style of rendering ash'aars. But he is famous for singing and good temperament in his locality.

As of 2008, Sar faraz khan is founder and chairman of Aryan kompany and its subsidiaries, and is the co-founder of RNK foundation.[3]

Early life

Sar Faraz Harfi was born on 24 April 1992 in Channapatna to Shafi khan, a Handicraft worker, and his wife Nageena Banu. He was their elder child. He did his schooling from SKVS School Mysore from where he completed his Higher Secondary. He completed his graduation from Sri kanteshwara P U College Mysore. With this, he participated in the examinations of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha and also received his religious education from SAMASTHA KERALA SUNNI VIDYABHYASA BOARD. Then he left his studies due to domestic problems, but his love for the medical field took him to BSS College where he did an MLT Course and connected with the medical sector. He is very religious and his attachment to Sufi saints took him to love, and he started expressing his feelings in poetic style.

In August 2010, he participated in IARF-SACC Religious Freedom workshop Mysore. And always lent his support to Human and Animal Rights organizations. He married Almas khanum, a Mahdavia Muslim.
