Saraf Ali Bhat (born 26 August 1999) is a Kashmiri software engineering student, a novelist, a poet.[1] an opinion writer and an author of 2 books — A smile Worth a Billion Poems and his award winning book Triggered Sorrows[2][3][4].[5]He started his career as a student in Aakash Institute[6] and began to contribute to the world of English Literature. He compiled all of the poems he wrote till he passed his High School, into a book that was published in 2017. Writing for him was like helping him get out of all the boring realms that surrounded him and helped him to cope up all with all tragedies in his life. So, it was the time when he decided to pen down his real life tragedy that got published in 2019 and got him a reader's choice award[7] and a feature in India Book Of Records[8][9][10]
Writing career
Saraf Ali Bhat has written for The Companion, Kashmir Glacier, Kashmir Glory and is presently writing his opinions in Kashmir Reader[11].
Known for his second novel, Triggered Sorrows, published in 2019, won him a global readers choice award[12][13][14][15][16][17]. The plot takes place wherein Saraf had to leave his homeland Kashmir, for further studies[18], to an unknown place, an unknown city of temples, Jammu.
