Sarah Hamilton is an American actor. She is the voice of April Ryan in the videogame The Longest Journey, and its sequel, Dreamfall.[1]

Hamilton was cast as the English voice of April Ryan, protagonist of The Longest Journey, a PC adventure game by Ragnar Tornquist. The dialogue was recorded in studio over ten consecutive days.[2] In 2002, Hamilton was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), and in 2004, salivary gland cancer.[3] In 2013 it was confirmed that Hamilton would work on the sequel to The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, Dreamfall Chapters.[4][3][5] In 2014, she was injured, underwent surgery and experienced a relapse in MS symptoms, and sought assistance with her medical bills.[6][7][8]

Hamilton attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University.[citation needed] She has served on the Board of Statement Arts, a New York non-profit organization.[9]
