Sardi Strugaj (Albanian pronunciation: ['saɾdi 'stɾugaj]; born 7 September 1995) is an Albanian singer and songwriter. He is known for his participation in Kënga Magjike 2011 alongside with the group Cyberhand. In 2012 he participated in the second season of the Albanian version of X Factor. In October 2020, the Albanian Broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH), announced him as one of the contestants selected to compete in the 59th edition of Festivali i Këngës with the song "Kam me t'ba me kajt", where he finished second.[1][2]
Life and career[edit]
In 2011, as a 16-year-old, he joined the Cyberhand group in Kënga Magjike, where they qualified for the semifinals. The song was written and composed by Bojken Lako. In 2012, Sardi Strugaj participates in X Factor Albania 2. On July 30, 2013, Sardi published the song "Më shikon nga lart". With this song, he participates in Netët E Klipit Shqiptar 13 in 2014.[3] Sardi himself said about this song that this was the first song he released and that he succeeded, because it was a sincere song.
In November 2013, Sardi participates in Kënga Magjike 2013 with the song "Sa larg", where he qualifies in the semifinals and in September 2015, he participates in Kënga Magjike 2015 with the song "Nuk harroj", where he also qualifies in the semifinals. In October 2020, the Albanian public broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) announced that he would be one of the contestants selected to compete in the 59th edition of the Festivali i Këngës with the song "Kam me t'ba me kajt".[4]
