Sarkai Kamal

Sarkai Kamal, real name Kamal Khan, was born in Sarai Nawrang in district Lakki Marwat. He was born in village Sarkai on January 5, 1954. His father’s name was Gul Momin. His education reached class 8. Later, they migrated to a nearby village, Sarkori Nar Akbar Khan. He died on June 13, 1986. He was a great folk poet of Pashto. His only collection of poetry is *Diwan Sarkai Kamal*.
