Sarvesh Tiwari

Sarvesh Tiwari (born July 7 in India) is an Indian social activist.[1] He is the general secretary of the Nirbhaya Jyoti Trust, a trust formed by the parents of the victim of the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder.[2] Sarvesh gave the name Nirbhaya which was used across India and supported the parents to get justice for Nirbhaya.[3]

He also took responsibility of education of three daughters of the a Martyr at Uri in India.[1] Tiwari is the president of Para Sports Foundation.[4] He also adopted 75 specially abled children and organize financial aid for the marriage of daughters of economically weaker families. Tiwari also supports pilgrimage of senior citizens of the country who can't afford to.[5]

During COVID 19 pandemic, Sarvesh distributed 20,000 masks in Musahar Toli, Bihar.[6]

Awards and Recognition[edit]

  • In 2017 Sarvesh was awarded the International Leadership Innovation Excellence Award by the Malaysian minister of health Subramaniam Tiwari.[7][5]
  • Udyog Rattan Award by The Institute of Economic studies (Govt of India Initiative) 2016[8]
