Sarwat Chadda is an author who has written under the "Rick Riordan Presents" imprint.

In 2008, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCWBI) 'Undiscovered Voices' new writers' competition awarded Chadda the win with an unedited draft of his first book, The Devil's Kiss.

Personal Life[edit]

Born and raised in London,[1] Chadda has lived all around the globe. Chadda "renounced his once adventurous life" as a senior engineer, to become a full time writer. Chadda writes children’s literature, young adult novels, comics, and has also written TV episodes.[2] Chadda himself says, "I love fantasy, big mythic action with a lot of passion and a lot of heart (and quite a bit of nail-biting tension and horror)"[2] Sarwat Chadda graduated from Imperial College London in the class of 1989.
