Sasha Kuliyev (born 1 February 2010)[1] is an American rhythmic gymnast.[2] She represents the United States in international competitions.
Biography
In 2019 Kuliyev took gold at the Holiday Cup among level 7 gymnasts.[3]
In February 2024 she helped the Burlo team win the Rhythmic Challenge, being selected to represent the USA internationally.[4][5] In May they once again won gold at the Elite Qualifier thus earning a spot at the USA Championships.[6][7] The following month she was selected to competed at the Pan American Championships in Guatemala City along Claire Glukovsky, Joy Lee, Katerina Levit, Natalia Serobian and Aurora Sullivan, winning silver with 5 hoops as well as bronze in the All-Around and with 10 clubs.[8][9][10][11][12] At the USA Championships they won gold in the All-Around and with hoops, silver with 10 clubs.[13]
In 2025 she and her teammates took gold at the Rhythmic Challenge.[14][15] They made their international debut at the Aphrodite Cup in Athens, being 11th overall and winning bronze with 10 clubs.[16][17][18] In May they won bronze in the All-Around as well as silver with 5 hoops and 10 clubs and in teams (along Natalie De la Rosa and Anna Filipp) at the Shining Star International Tournament.[19][20] The group went on to win all three golds at the Elite Qualifier.[21][22] Kuliyev then participated in the Pan American Championships in Asunción, taking silver in the All-Around and with 5 hoops, bronze with 10 clubs.[23][24][25][26] On June 20 the group from Burlo was again named the national junior group for 2025–2026.[27] In late June she was selected for the 3rd Junior World Championships in Sofia, winning an unprecedented silver in teams along groupmates Nina Keys, Leyla Kukhmazova, Ziah Khan, Alana Hirota and Katherine Roytman and individuals Natalie De la Rosa and Anna Filipp.[28][29] In August they won silver in the All-Around and with 10 clubs as well as bronze with 5 hoops at the Junior Pan American Games.[30][31][32][33]
