Sashko Dermansky
Oleksandr Stepanovych Dermansky, known as Sashko Dermansky (Ukrainian: Олександр Степанович Дерманський, Ukrainian: Сашко Дерманський; born 28 October 1976) is a Ukrainian writer of children's literature.
Early life and education
Dermansky was born in the village named Haivoron in the Volodarka Raion of Kyiv oblast, Ukrainian SSR. He was a middle child of an agriculturist Stepan Dermansky and a teacher, Lilia Dermanska. He has two brothers: Oleh and Oleksiy. Oleh died on December 20, 2022, in the battle of Donbas during Russian invasion of Ukraine.[1]
