Sateesh Paramveda (abbreviated SPV; Telugu: సతీష్ పరమవేద; born 17 January 1983) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work in Telugu-language films. He made his debut with Ooriki Uttharana, which received positive reviews from viewers.[1]
Early life and career[edit]
Sateesh was born in Jagtial, Karimnagar District, Telangana. He studied post-graduation in English literature and also studied Screenplay and Direction courses from FTIT, located in Adyar, Chennai.[citation needed]
He worked in Telugu media as a chief reporter, news editor in Andhra Jyothy, Sakshi papers and as correspondent and program producer in various channels like INews and TV9 Telugu.[citation needed]
He started his career in Dil Raju productions. He worked as an associate director for Oh My Friend with director Venu Sri Ram under Dil Raju productions. After working under SVC for more than 5 years, he worked as a writer and associate director for Kona Venkat and Sukumar writings.
He made his debut with Ooriki Uttharana in 2021. It was acclaimed by both critics and viewers alike.[1]
