Sattik Bhaumik (born 15 April 2004) is an Indian student astronomer, currently a student at Minerva University. He is known for his contributions to exoplanet astronomy and observational astronomy, including his work on ESI. Bhaumik is also an undergraduate student member at the American Astronomical Society, member of the American Physical Society, and a senior member of the Sky Watchers Association of North Bengal (SWAN).

Bhaumik completed his 10th grade schooling at Auxilium Convent School, Siliguri under the CISCE, clearing the ICSE examination in March 2020. He then completed his high-schooling from Don Bosco School, Siliguri, clearing the 12th grade ISC examination in the Science Stream in July 2022. In August 2023, he joined Minerva University, where he is involved in research in the fields of Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Cosmology, and an interdisciplinary research combining Mathematics and Advanced Astronomy. He is also the founder of the Theory of Nothingness.
Research
His first paper, published in the Journal of Emerging Investigators[2] in 12th grade, presented calculations of ESI values for three exoplanets. He also presented his paper at the International Astronomy Conference of GHOU-2021. His paper is also available on arxiv[3] and NASA ADS.[4]
He is currently working on his Theory of Nothingness and Nothingness Mathematics, Twistor Theory and Quantum Fluctuations, and in the fields of Observational astronomy, Exoplanets, and Physical cosmology.
Awards and honors
Bhaumik achieved a global rank of 10th in the International Space Olympiad. He is also a three-time consecutive finalist (silver honor) in the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition.
