The Saudi Amateur Radio Society (SARS) (in Arabic, الجمعية السعودية لهواة اللاسلكي) is a national non-profit organization for amateur radio hobbyists in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Amateur Radio Society was established by the Associations and Institutions system issued by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 61 dated 30/11/2015 and its implementing regulations issued by Ministerial Decree No. 73 739 dated 20/03/2016.[3]
The Main goal of SARS is to develop relations and to communicate with amateur radio hobbyists around the world to exchange experience, knowledge and contribute to emergency situations. SARS is the national member society representing Saudi Arabia in the International Amateur Radio Union.[4][5]
