He starred in Everest (Indian TV series), produced by Ashutosh Gowariker for Star plus, and his character ‘Siraj Ahmed’ gave him instant recognition for his natural performance. He was seen in many commercials and films like in AR Murugadoss’s Akira (2016 Hindi film) and Nagesh Kukunoor mentored ’Shor se Shuruaat. He has worked with theatre personalities like ‘Salim Arif’, Ila Arun, K. K. Raina and more. His portrayal of ‘Capt Vishru Soren' in the web series The Test Case (web series) made him an instant sensation with the youth and put him in the spotlight. But his portrayal of a simple small town boy named ‘Raja’ in the highly acclaimed short film ‘SEAL’ was praised by many film critics.[2]
Goyal has studied Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology and later quit his job to join Subhash Ghai’s film School Whistling Woods International Institute to study films and acting.
