Saurabh Swaroop is an Indian Politician and member of the Samajwadi Party. He is the son of former minister Chitranjan Swaroop.
Early life and education[edit]
Swaroop was born in Muzaffarnagar in 1971. He holds a degree of graduation from CCSU in 1990.[2]
Political career[edit]
Swaroop Swaroop contested 2022 assembly election from Muzaffarnagar Assembly Constituency as a joint candidate of Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Lok Dal in RLD symbol of Handpump but lost by BJP candidate Kapil Dev Aggarwal by 18,694 votes.[3]
Family Fued[edit]
Saurabh and his elder brother Gaurav Swaroop both claiming themselves a political successor of their father.
Political tussle grown when both brothers claiming ticket from seat seat. Saurabh Swaroop got success in getting ticket. In other hand elder Gaurav joined BJP camp in response of his brother ticket.[4]
