Sazzad Arefeen

Sazzad Arefeen is a Bangladeshi guitarist, music producer, and educator. He is the founder and lead guitarist of the band Ground-Force, and has previously performed with Warfaze, De-illumination, and Metal Maze. Arefeen also runs a guitar education program called Guitar Never Lies.

Career

Arefeen has been active in the Bangladeshi rock and metal music scene since the 1990s. He gained prominence through his work with Metal Maze and Warfaze, and contributed to Warfaze's 2003 album Moharaaj.[1]

In 2010, Arefeen joined symphonic rock band De-illumination and appeared on their album Onibarjo. He later founded the band Ground-Force and released the concept album Operation Angrymachine in 2021. His follow-up album with the band, Tree of Life (2022), was covered in mainstream Bangladeshi media.[2]

Teaching

Arefeen runs Guitar Never Lies, a guitar education initiative offering both in-person and online classes in Bangladesh.
