Sbubby
A Sbubby refers to the misspelling of the restaurant Subway, in which people make logos that look like the brand but read something else.[1]
History
On February 15, 2016, a user on Tumblr uploaded a modified McDonald's logo spelled "McNaldo's: I like it™". In response, three other Tumblr users made their own variants of Burger King, Wendy's, and Subway (restaurant), written as "Bubger Kirg," "Weedy's" and "Sbubby" respectively. Hence the name Sbubby.[2]
Description
A Sbubby is usually uploaded to Reddit, a popular news aggregator designed for posting news, and then people upvote/downvote the post. Some examples of Sbubbies include video game covers and even children's television shows.
