Scab Animal 1977 is the first full-length studio album by Australian punk rock band Johnny Dole & The Scabs. The album was recorded at ABC Studio, Darlinghurst NSW Australia, during 1977. The band had all but ended, so the songs were never released at the time and lay unreleased until 1996. Steve Lorkin, in true Punk style, had the only known cassette tape remastered and self-funded the release on his own Brain Salad Surgery label in a limited run.
Only 8 songs were recorded at ABC Studios, so some live material and an interview were added.
