Scenographic cake

Scenographic cake (also known as Fake cake) is an inedible cake made from cardboard, polystyrene,[1] and can be coated with cardstock, EVA and other materials.[1]
The scenographic cake can also have several toppings:
- Royal icing;
- American paste;
- Tissue;
- Biscuit.
- Others.[2]
History
The scenographic cake has been created around the year 2000, for several reasons. At that time it was difficult to 'build' cakes of 3 floors or more, because the tools that exist today did not exist.[3]
