Time out doll

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

A Time Out Doll is a North American folk craft in the form of a toddler-sized doll that is intended to be posed against a wall, hence the alternative name Corner Dolls[1]. The dolls typically lack a face, as the doll's arms are posed to cover it.

In addition to being used as home decor, Time Out Dolls are strongly associated with classic car shows.[2] [3]. The dolls can be posed against the car in such a way that hides any dents or scratches. The period clothing of the dolls can also add to the nostalgic tone of the event. [4]
