Sceptre (Russian: Скипетр) were a Russian heavy metal band that was formed in 2006 in Saratov.
History[edit]
Since 2006 the band performed gigs in several cities of European part of Russia. Sceptre supported such famous Russian bands as Master, Black Obelisk and others.
The band has released 2 albums and 2 singles on the Russian record label "Metalism Records".[3][4][5][6][7]. In 2011 the song "The Curse of Merlin" was included into "Now! That’s What I Call Metal 37" compilation, among songs of Lamb of God, Serenity, Amon Amarth, Moonsorrow, Korpiklaani, Power Quest and others.
The band officially broke up on May 25, 2015.[8]
