Schneebezen is an American electronic band formed in Santa Monica, California in 1987. The group consists of founders [[Bart E.Plaskoff (lead vocals, songwriting, keyboards) and Glenn Moller (keyboards, sampling, songwriting, sequencing). Moller’s influences included existing electronic bands such as, Depeche Mode, Visage, Devo and Erasure, while Plaskoff was influenced by The Cure, Bauhaus (band), Genesis (band), The Cars, Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, and Pink Floyd, allowing for a unique blend of deep lyrical content, real instrument sounds, and electronic pop! Schneebezen released their self-released debut cassette Words That Rhyme with Orange in 1989, bringing the band onto the Greater Los Angeles new wave scene, and later released their Self-Released EP, Take Those Shades Off, with their friend and producer Bryan Carlstrom. The EP yielded two "top-10" hits. The hits "Magical Meeting of the Minds" and "Can't Remain a Friend" were beating out bands like Depeche Mode and The Cure for heavy rotation on KROQ-FM, Live 105 and other Modern Music Stations around the world, and Schneebezen was doing this all from a small, self-built recording studio in West Los Angeles. Schneebezen had also obtained the highest rated local band in KROQ history..[1]

Schneebezen was soon invited to perform at the world famous Whisky a Go Go and at the Palomino Club (North Hollywood), securing the LA Weekly, “Band Name of the Week”, over 3 times, and started making appearances on live 105 with Steve Masters (DJ), along with appearances at the "X" and Palomino Club (North Hollywood). Schneebezen continued even when on to make appearances on various TV Shows such as The Poorman's Video Show (KROQ), LA to Nashville and performed live for the United Way of America.

In early 1990, an EMI Executive, Barry Kolsky, took interest in the band began development with the band, eliciting Frank Fuchs to Produce Demos. Creative differences began to occur, and like many bands on the cusp of their big Record Deal, Schneebezen disbanded.

Bart E. Plaskoff continued his music career with Barry Kolsky, who introduced Plaskoff to prominent Record Producer, Shel Talmy (The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie and Chad and Jeremy)[2]. Under the pseudonym, Bart Rhodes (lead vocals, keyboards, songwriting), Plaskoff began work on Cast in Cement which included legendary keyboardist, Nicky Hopkins (The Beatles, John Lennon, The Who, Jeff Beck)[3], Howard Wolen (songwriting, engineering, sampling) who had also worked as an engineer for Herb Alpert and A&M Records  and Barry Kolsky (Guitar) the project included a modern version of My Generation, She Loves You, I hear You Knockin, I Get Chinese, Radio Radio, and two of Plaskoff’s Originals, Nuts and Bolts and Candy. The Album was set to be released on Curb Records, but failed to come to come to fruition.

Glenn Moller continued his career in entertainment, discovering the production of Latin music, as well as Producing various, notable TV Commercials. Continuing on with his passion for Ford Mustangs and Mustang conversions, Moller developed the Mustangworld empire[4]
