Scott Nathan is an American photographer[1] most known for his work for celebrities.[2][3] He has worked with Dita Von Teese,[4] Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Rachel Hunter, Lady Victoria Hervey, Tiffany Trump, Tess Holliday, Mary Jo Deschanel, Esmé Bianco (Game of Thrones/Supergirl.) and Lindsay Lohan.[3][5][6]

Nathan was also acclaimed for his work titled CONFESSIONAL, which premiered at Frieze in Los Angeles. It featured 118 women, celebrities, and civilians who sat for 10 minutes in an ultra high definition 8K moving portrait.

Controversy[edit]

In the year 2018 Nathan sued Universal Music Group, Lindsay Lohan's musical label, when one of his photographs of Lohan was used for the cover for her music single "Bossy" without his permission. He also sued Lohan's clothing line, 6126, for reneging on a promise of equity to Nathan. The two settled but Nathan then claimed Lohan did not pay him according to the settlement.[7] As of 2020 all has debts have been satisfied.[8]
