Winning Jah (MON) (born 12 December 1973) is a Nigerian born Italian reggae musician, music producer and a Philanthropist[2].He is popularly known for his Platnum album "Big Man", which he performed in festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash and Sanremo Music Festival [3].In 2011, he received a prestigious award for his music merit as Member of the Order of the Niger awarded by ex president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria [3]

Winning Jah's birth names are Kingsley Eno Osagie (born 12 December 1973) in the nothern part of Nigeria Kano State[4]
Music Career[edit]
Winning Jah is a professional singer, Multi-instrumentalist , artist manager and a Record label Chief executive officer . He started local music performance in schools and private parties with other friends and family members at his teenage, before he emerged to limelight as a Lead vocalist of the defunct "Emababa Reggae Group" (1980-1989). In 1990, Winning continued as a solo recording artist to release his debut album Big Man which sold over 650,000 units in Nigeria and went Platnum[5][3][6][7]. In 1998, he went on tour internationally to perform his debut album "Big Man" as a guest artist at Sanremo Music Festival and Rototom Sunsplash opening stage for Jamaican artists such as Shaggy and Burning Spear in Italy same year.[3]. During an interview with Leadership (newspaper), he claimed that his inspirations came from musicians such as Fela Kuti, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and Lucky Dube[8] In 2013, he went on music therapy tour in Ireland to perform Djembe solist, for disabled people at St. John's Hospital, Limerick and Irish Wheelchair Association[9]. He is the founder of AMC1D Projects International Onlus, a Charitable organisation. In 2015, he wrote and recorded a song "To Whom It May Concern" for UNICEF[10][11] In 2016, he signed a record deal with VP Records[12] and released albums such as Nouveau Buisness, "Africa Inside Me"[13] and some singles such as "Rude Boy" , "Living in Fire", "C-Krit" and "Now I know (Made in Africa)" featuring Stephen Marley and It peaked at 14th position under the Top 100 Reggae albums on Itunes in 2020.[14] . In 2017, he performed (equal rights Concert) as a guest artist at International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Italy hosted by United Nations [15]. In 2018, a Nigerian professor at Faculty of Arts, management and Social Sciences, Dr Solomon Awuzie from Edo University, Iyamho, positively reviewed Winning Jah's music career and reggae style on Google Scholar "Winning Jah has produced a lot of reggae songs with variety of themes such as love (the love he sings about include the cosmic love, spiritual love, the love of one’s fellow man, and the love of God or “Jah”), rebellion and revolution against the forces impeding that love (like the extreme violence, poverty, racism, and government oppression)"[16]. In 2020, Nigerian reggae singer Evi Edna Ogholi featured Winning Jah on one of her most popular song 'Happy Birthday', a remixed version and the track peaked on #34 position on Top 100 reggae songs chart Itunes from September 21 to 27, 2020.[17]. Others such as 'Homeless World' charted and was #1 on Reverbnation for one month,[18] while his 'Deep Sea' song resulted in nomination at Amnesty International Music Awards in Italy in 2017.[19].Winning Jah has worked with artists such as Veronica Rudian, Evi Edna Ogholi and Kora award winner King Wadada in arranging his debut album "Ominipotent God" album [20] . In 2021, Winning Jah performed an exclusive concert for Summerjam, the show was broadcasted by Obaland Magazine[21]

- Aid People Change Naija (APCN) Humanitarian awards for 'Best Charitable Singer of the Year' and 'Best Nigerian Reggae Act of the Year'[25].
- In 2020 he was honored and described as the "Nigeria King of Reggae"on Splash 105.5 FM Ibadan[26]
