Screencastify is a video recording Chrome extension developed by VLinks Media that can record videos with screen or webcam.[1]
Screencastify consists of three modes.[2] First is the browser tab mode, which can be used for microphone and to embed a webcam. Next is the desktop mode, which can be used for the same purpose. And the last is the webcam only mode, which can be used for a microphone and camera.[3]
The free version of Screencastify places its name as a watermark at the top-right corner of every recorded video, and each recorded video is limited to five minutes in length.[4]
The created video can be saved in MP4 format.[5]
