Strange World is an upcoming animated film directed by Don Hall. The film is set to be released in 2022 by Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Premise
The film will follow a 14-year-old biracial (Caucasian/African-American) boy named Ethan Clade.[1][better source needed]
Production
The audition for the movie started on May 31, 2021 and production started on July 1, 2021. The movie was first announced in July 2021 and will be directed by Don Hall, produced by Roy Conli and written by Qui Nguyen. The trio worked together on the movie Raya and the Last Dragon.[1][2] In December 2021, the film was renamed to Strange World. [3]
Release
Strange World is set to be released on November 23, 2022.[1][4][better source needed]
