Segun Ogunbe is a Nollywood actor, script writer, producer and director of movies.[1][2]He came into limelight with his lead role in Ibi giga. He is the nephew of a veteran actor Akin Ogungbe and a receiver of the City People Movie Special Recognition Award.[3][4][5]

Early life and education[edit]

Segun Ogunbe was born on 28 March 1970 in Ibadan where  he received his  primary and secondary education. He is a native of Abeokuta, Ogun State[3]

Personal Life[edit]

Segun Ogunbe is married to two wives; Atinuke Ogungbe and Omowunmi Ajiboye (an actress). They are blessed with four children.[6][3][7] [8][9]

Career[edit]

Segun Ogungbe started acting at the age of three in the movies of Akin Ogungbe, Ogunde and Baba Sala.[4]In 1996, he started his own movie production called Segun Ogungbe films and the industry became popular after it produced Ibi giga, Banke Desperado, Akoto olokada and others.[4]
