Whitney Michael McCloud (Michael "Sellah" McCloud).[1][2] (born September 6, 1989), known as Sellah, is an American singer and actor. Sellah is from a US military family and used to be an NCAA basketball player.[3]
Before becoming a singer, Sellah used to be a model and did some worldwide campaigns[4].[3][5].
He was also featured in the reality show "The Beautiful People".
Career
On June 11, 2021, Sellah released a cover of Frank Ocean's song "Thinking Bout' You"[6]. This cover helped him to grow his audience and catch the attention of the music industry.
Shortly after signing a licensing deal with "Equity Distribution", a division of Roc Nation, Sellah began to work on his first EP "Sorcery", released on January 6, 2022. The release of the EP caught the attention of online publications such as GQ.[7], Metal Magazine[8] and Numéro Magazine[9].
His music video "Expired" was premiered on Metal Magazine’s website on January 23, 2022.
Sellah announced[9] that he is currently working on his first full-length album "The Northern Light".
