Septillion (band)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Hailing from the most isolated capitol city on the globe, Perth, Western Australia, Septillion are a blackened death metal band known for their unique sound and intense live shows. They are currently supporting their debut full length release “Inheritance”. The band has plans to return to the studio in late 2017 to begin production on a new album to be released in 2018.

History[edit]

Formed in 2010 by Ashley Bartley and Adam Seroka, Septillion was founded with the goal of creating darker, faster and heavier metal music than what was available in their local scene at the time. After multiple lineup changes and the release of their first EP Ensis Pres in late 2011, the band had started to find and solidify their sound as blackened death metal, likened to the style of early Behemoth (band) and Dark Funeral.

By 2015 the band had cemented themselves in the local scene as purveyors of groove laden blackened death metal, and returned to the studio to recorded their first full length album Inhertitence, which was released in 2016 to praise and positive reviews in their hometown.

Known locally for their vicious and energetic live shows, the band flew to Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), to play nationally for the first time in 2017, after a string of successful shows back home.
